MIRROR ON THE GROUND

Mirror on the ground;
Everything is seen;
Every star that shines;
Every cloud between;
Knowing everything.
Whether day or night
Nothing can escape.
Not one bird in flight;
Nor locust celebrate.
When winter has cast down
White sheets upon the land;
Still evergreen are found;
Not hidden where they stand.
When summer comes aglow
And brightens every place;
Though wind and rain are foe;
No secret hides its face.
And man is not alone;
He shares as time is tred;
Memories and hopes;
And thoughts that life has shed
In love and peace we find,
We can't escape with fear;
We can't escape God's mind;-
He sees and also hears.
Though prayer or a dream;
He knows everything.
